(ĐN)- Responding to the call of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, many enterprises and units in the province donated more than 1,000 gifts, worth VND150,000 each, to help poor families welcome Tet. Particularly, Truong Hai Auto Company contributed 100 gifts, Dong Nai Branch of the Bank for Investment and Development, 150 gifts, Dong Nai Province State Bank, 100 gifts, Thanh Binh Company, 100 gifts, the provincial Committee for Solidarity of Catholics, 100 gifts; Dong Nai province Industrial and Commercial Bank, Bien Hoa Sugar J.S Company, 50 gifts; Dong Nai Taxation Bureau, 50 gifts; Bien Hoa Industrial Zone Development Company, 50 gifts; Dai A Bank, 100 gifts; Dong Nai Rubber Company, VND5 million; Dona Biti’s, VN1 million and 50 pairs of shoes. Besides, the provincial Buddhish Sangha’s Executive Board offered 100 gifts worth VND20 million to the poor in Dang Hoa district, Binh Phuoc province.
* Lately, Mass Mobilisation Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has come Ma Da and Hieu Liem communes, Vinh Cuu district to present Tet gifts to poor families. The gifts, worth 150,000 each, including coffee, cereals and cash funded by Vina Café Company.
At the same time, Vinh Cuu district granted 814 Tet gifts to poor families in 12 communes and towns across the district. Each gift worth VND180,000 including rice, cakes, seasoning powder, and cash.
* A delegation from the provincial Red Cross Association also visited and presented Tet gifts to poor households in Long Khanh town and other districts. Knowing that the Association will offer about 2,000 gifts worth VND100,000 each to the poor from now to February 9.
