(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Golf Association recently held its first conference at the Long Thanh Golf Club in Phuoc Tan commune, Long Thanh district in the presence of Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee.

The establishment of the association aims at gathering golf lovers around the province. The Association has 50 members who are domestic and foreign businesses operating in Dong Nai. The conference draw up a plan of action for 2007. Accordingly, the Association will organize tournaments to celebrate big holidays of the year in order to raise funds to support poor students and poor families.
The Association elected an 15-member executive board for the 2007-2012 term with Mr. Le Nhat Dinh as President at its first conference.
Mr. Phan Van Trang, Former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was elected Vice President.
