Giant “banh tet” to be made

Yasaka-Sai Gon-Nha Trang Hotel in Khanh Hoa province plans to make a giant " banh tet", traditional Tet rice cake, for this year’s holiday.

Yasaka-Sai Gon-Nha Trang Hotel in Khanh Hoa province plans to make a giant " banh tet", traditional Tet rice cake, for this year’s holiday.

 

The cake, which will be 32m long and 0.2m in diametre, will be prepared on February 13. A cake cutting cremony will be held at the Sea Park in front of the hotel and cake will be sold to visitors.

 

The hotel management said proceeds will be donated to the Hunger Eradication and Poverty Alleviation Programme
