More than 4,000 houses to be built for ethnic people

(ĐN)- Speaking at the meeting of the Steering Committee of 134 Programme on last week, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga said that the province will complete the construction of over 4,000 houses for the local ethnic minority households by April 30, 2007.

(ĐN)- Speaking at the meeting of the Steering Committee of 134 Programme on last week, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga said that the province will complete the construction of over 4,000 houses for the local ethnic minority households by April 30, 2007. Accordingly, each household will be given at least VND10 million or 70 meters square of land to build a new house. Besides, the province will plan to provide vocational training and jobs for the ethnic people.   

Knowing that there are 4,064 poor ethnic households who are most in need of housing assistance in the province.
