(ĐN)- In 2006, officers and men of the Provincial Armed Forces contributed VND340 million to build 18 charity houses and 10 gratitude houses for the poor and policy beneficiaries who are living inside and outside the province. This is a part of the program of construction of “1,000 gratitude and charity houses” launched by Ministry of Defence. In the past year, the Provincial Armed Forces donated about VND120 million to the province’s Sponsor Fund for Children, Day for the poor and other charity activities.
