The contest, which was held in Mongolia on August 25, attracted 17 teams from 16 countries and territories.
The team from Vietnam won the prize after being defeated by hosts Mongolia in the semi-final and shared the prize with team from China. Meanwhile, team from Hong Kong won the champion title after overcome the hosts in the final.
Found in 2002 by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) aims to create friendship among young people and advance engineering and broadcasting technologies in the region.
The ABU Robocon Contest 2020 will be hosted in Fiji.
