The qualifying round of Robocon 2019 in the southern region took place on April 12 in HCM City, attracting the participation of 14 teams from 4 universities in southern provinces and cities.
Of the 8 teams which were chosen for the final round, five come from Lac Hong University, the others are from Ho Chi Minh city University of Technical Training.
The winner of the national contest will represent Vietnam at the 2019 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) which is scheduled for August in Mongolia.
