A ceremony to launch four Vsmart-branded smartphones takes place on December 14 in HCMC

The Vsmart smartphones are priced between VND2.5 million and VND6.3 million.

At the launching ceremony, Vinsmart announced plans to establish six testing labs overseas to study new technology applied to smart electronic devices. These labs will be located in the United States, Japan, China, Israel, Singapore and South Korea, assisting in its business expansion in the global smartphone market.

With the available manpower, technology and the manufacturing plant, Tran Minh Trung, general director of Vinsmart, said that the local phone maker looks to roll out 10 more smartphone models next year, available in all segments.

Apart from the smartphones, Vinsmart will continue to introduce more smart electronic devices in the near future, Trung said.

As for the product distribution, over 5,000 Vsmart distributing outlets are available throughout the country.

Additionally, it set up over 500 facilities for Vsmart warranty services in the first phase, three customer service centers in Hanoi, Danang, and HCMC, and one phone repair center located in the Vinsmart plant. These facilities will help quickly deal with problems faced by Vsmart customers.
