(ĐN)- Dong Nai province-based Lac Hong University’s LH-ATM team successfully overcame 22 other competitors to win the champion title at the 2018 Vietnam Robot Contest (Robocon Vietnam) which concluded in Vinh Phuc province on May 13.
The university had four teams entering the final round. The LH-GALAXY ranked second while other two teams were also presented auxiliary prizes.
After 14 consecutive years participating in Vietnam Robocon, Lac Hong University has won 8 first prizes.
The 2018 Robocon Vietnam is the 17th edition of its kind in the country. The LH-ATM and LH-GALAXY teams will represent Vietnam to take part in the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon), which is slated for August 26 in Ninh Binh province.
Vietnam has triumphed at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest six times. Accordingly, the championships were claimed by Lac Hong University in 2014 and 2017.
