The event, which will be held by Vietnam Television (VTV) in Vinh Phuc province from May 8-13, attracts the participation of 32 teams from universities and colleges nationwide.
Of the teams, five come from Lac Hong University. The university won the championship last year and is the university in Vietnam which has the best performance at the national and international robotic contests.
The two best teams of the national contest will represent Vietnam at the 2018 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) which is scheduled for August 28 in Ninh Binh province.
