The contest themed "“The Landing Disc”, which was held at the Ota City Sports Complex in Tokyo, Japan on August 27, attracted 19 teams from 18 countries and territories.
This is the university’s second championship at the contest, marking the sixth time Vietnam has championed the ABU Robocon, in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Found in 2002 by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) aims to create friendship among young people and advance engineering and broadcasting technologies in the region.
The ABU Robocon Contest 2018 entitled “ Flying dragon” will be hosted in Ninh Binh province, Vietnam.
