After 6 month of launching, the contest which was jointly organized by Dong Nai Union of Science-Technology Associations, the provincial Department of Science and Technology and the provincial Youth Union for contestants aged between 6 and 19, attracted 488 solutions in 5 categories of school equipment, environment-friendly products, household utensils and kid toys, solutions in coping with climate change, protecting environment and economic development.
At the ceremony, the organizing board awarded 2 first, 8 second, 13 third and 32 consolation prizes to outstanding solutions. Accordingly, 2 first prizes went to “Fruit picking handcart which helps save labor strength” solution of a group of students in Cam My district and “Remote-controlled lifebuoy” of a group of students in Dinh Quan district. In addition, 28 excellent solutions have been selected to compete at the national contest.
