(ĐN)- The National Robot Contest (Robocon) 2017 will take place tonight at Ninh Binh province’s Gymnasium.
The event, held by Vietnam Television (VTV) from May 9-14, attracts the participation of 32 teams from universities and colleges nationwide.

Of the teams, six come from Lac Hong University. The university won the championship last year and is the school in Vietnam which has the best performance at the national and international robotic contests.
Three teams of Lac Hong University will compete at the first round of the contest in A and B groups. The other three teams will enter competitions on the next days. The quarter finals, semi-finals, finals as well as award ceremony will take place on May 14.
The winner of the national contest will represent Vietnam at the 2017 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) which is scheduled for August in Japan.
