Two giant pythons released into the wild

(ĐN)- Dinh Quan district's Forest Ranger Department, Nam Cat Tien Protected Forest Reserve and Wildlife Rescue Center on July 11 released two Burmese pythons into Cat Tien National Park.

 

(ĐN)- Dinh Quan district’s Forest Ranger Department, Nam Cat Tien Protected Forest Reserve and Wildlife Rescue Center on July 11 released two Burmese pythons into Cat Tien National Park.

The giant creatures with total weight of nearly 40 kilograms are categorized as critically endangered in the Viet Nam Red Book.

They had been handed over by Mr. Ho Dac Bao Thi, a member of Tan Uyen Buddhist Society in Binh Duong province, to the forest ranger department one week earlier.
