The qualifying round of Robocon 2016 in the southern region took place on April 7 in HCM City, attracting the participation of 19 teams from 5 universities and intermediate vocational schools in southern provinces.
Of the 8 teams which were chosen for the final round, six come from Lac Hong University, the others are from Tran Dai Nghia University.
As many as 32 teams from universities, colleges and vocational schools nationwide will compete at the 2016 Robocon. The winner of the contest will represent Vietnam at the 2016 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) which is scheduled for August in Thailand.
