Lac Hong University wins Shell Eco-marathon Asia

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University's LH-Gold Energy team excellently won the top prize in Urban Concept vehicle category of Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2016 which concluded in Manila, the Philippines on March 6.

 

(ĐN)- The Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University's LH-Gold Energy team excellently won the top prize in Urban Concept vehicle category of Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2016 which concluded in Manila, the Philippines on March 6.

The LH-Gold Energy team won the championship at the energy-efficiency vehicle competition with a result of 185 kilometers per liter of ethanol E100. They were followed by Cikal Ethanol team from Indonesia.

The team will represent Asia to compete at World energy-efficient vehicles contest scheduled to be held in England.

The marathon, the 7th of its kind held annually by Shell, is a contest for students of technical majors to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. This year’s contest attracted more than 100 teams from countries and territories across Asia and the Middle East, vying for titles of the Prototype and Urban Concept vehicle categories.

This is the second time Lac Hong university has won the champion title at the contest.
