Accordingly, the university with two energy-efficiency vehicles to participate in the fuel-efficient vehicles’ contest has set its target to defend champion title which it had secured last year.
The participating vehicles of the university are better designed than the car which went first in last year competition.One of the two vehicles is designed to run by ethanol gasoline and can travel 200km with only one liter of fuel while the other runs by gasoline.
The marathon, held annually by Shell, is a contest for students of technical majors to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. In addition to be a playing ground in technology and application, the event will offer a chance for students to understand how to prepare for, design and operate a vehicle and take use of available fuels.
