(ĐN)- The organizers of National Science-Technology Competition for High School Students in southern region in 2015-2016 academic year yesterday announced 16 entries selected for the final round.
Of the entries, two are of students from Dong Nai province. Meanwhile, Lam Dong province is leading the contest with 4 projects selected for the final round, followed by HCM city, Quang Nam, Dong Nai, Kien Giang, Dong Thap, Phu Yen, Quang Ngaui and Kon Tum.
The competition which lasts through March 15, attracting 206 projects of students from 32 provinces and cities from Da Nang southward which includes 18 projects of students in Dong Nai
This is the 5th school year the Ministry of Education and Training has held the competition and the first time Dong Nai has hosted the contest.
The competition organized annually by the Ministry of Education and Training is to encourage students to study science and technology and to apply the acquired knowledge into reality. It is also a good chance for contestants to get together and exchange their research results. The top three prize winners will be admitted to universities nationwide without taking entrance exams.
