(ĐN)- The Ministry of Information and Communication on September 30 held a training conference on the digital-television transition project for leaders from press agencies in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces.
Under the project, by late 2016, Dong Nai and other 25 provinces and cities will have to complete the digitalization of television, and end the broadcast of analogue television in 2020.
The digitalization of television benefits from a better image and sound quality than analogue TV with HD, 4K resolution channels.
The State will help poor families buy set-top boxes to decode digital TV signals.
