(ĐN)- The Prime Minister on June 8 promulgated a decision to approve the master plan on the development of hi-tech parks until 2020 with a vision toward 2030.
Accordingly, from now until 2030, some new hi-tech parks will be set up under the investment of Central provinces and cities from the local budget and other financial sources in order to boost investment attraction in hi-tech industry, contributing to promote the development of science and technology nationwide.
According to the plan, from now until 2030, Vietnam will increase investment and fulfill the construction of comprehensive infrastructure as well as modernize hi-tech parks in the country, including Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, HCM city Hi-tech Park, Da Nang Hi-tech Park.
At the same time, the country will establish hi-tech parks under the investment of Central provinces and cities which were well-prepared for the construction, including Ha Noi Hi-tech Biological Park in Ha Noi, Dong Nai Specialized High Bio-technology Park in Dong Nai province, Ascendas-Protrade Hi-tech Park in Binh Duong province.
The decision also mapped out measures for the development of of hi-tech parks until 2020 with a vision toward 2030.
