In the final match, FR1 team of Hung Yen Pedagogy University defeated Fire Win team, also from the university to win the title of the 2015 Vietnam Robocon.
Meanwhile, Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University’s LH-Seed team and CN-DT04 team from Ha Noi Industry University shared the third place in the contest.
The FR1 team received 50 million VND (2,380 USD) in cash and will represent Vietnam at the 2015 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) which is scheduled for August in Indonesia.
Themed “Robominton: Badminton Robo-Game”, the 2015 Robocon Vietnam, the 14th of its kind held in the country, attracted 32 teams from universities and colleges nationwide.
