(ĐN)- Recent surveys carried out at Cat Tien National Park, Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, have shown that there is a variety of plant and animal resources in Dong Nai.
The province is currently home to more than 1,780 species of wild animals including 259 bird species, 64 reptile species, 33 amphibian species and over 1,240 insect species.
Of the species, 85 are listed in endangered species. Meanwhile, there are over 1,400 species of forest plants which included 81 rare speciies. Moreover, forests in Dong Nai have 25 percent of medicinal plants.
