A conference was held in Hanoi on Dec 10 to discuss how to boost cooperation between the Vietnam and India in the field of information technology.
The event was jointly held by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indian Embassy in Vietnam .
The organisers hoped the event will be a chance for IT businesses of both countries to meet and establish links as well as find business partners.
Over the past years, Vietnam and India have implemented several cooperative projects in the field. Just recently, India has helped set up a human resources centre with an investment of 2 million USD at the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications.
In the future, India has a plan to assist Vietnam in establishing a super computer centre at the Hanoi University of Technology.
