Opening ceremony of Dong Nai province’s science, technology, innovation and digital transformation festival

On October 8, at the Provincial Conference Center (Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai province), the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology coordinated with relevant units to organize the opening ceremony of Dong Nai province’s Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival 2025 (Techfest Dong Nai 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Huynh Thi Hang, along with members of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee: Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son; Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province Ha Anh Dung; Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tran Bien ward Ho Van Nam; Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc ward Giang Thi Phuong Hanh.

Also in attendance were members of the provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Office of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial People’s Committee, departments and sectors in the province; representatives of departments and centers under the Ministry of Science and Technology and departments of science and technology from other localities, institutes/universities, and the startup community inside and outside the province...

With the theme “Innovation runway - Dong Nai takes off,” Techfest Dong Nai 2025 is expected to become a key forum for implementing the province's orientation of “breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.”

In his opening remarks, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized that Techfest Dong Nai 2025 is a large-scale, multi-day event featuring more than 200 exhibition booths and in-depth thematic seminars that span all aspects of an innovation-driven economy. Techfest Dong Nai 2025 serves as an effective bridge, connecting the technological solution needs of businesses with offerings from research and supply units.

Through the event, Dong Nai province is focusing on accelerating the commercialization of research and development (R&D) outcomes into production and everyday life; creating opportunities to sign memorandums of understanding (MOUs), and transforming discussions into concrete actions and business commitments that reflect strategic cooperation aimed at joint business expansion and sustainable development. At the same time, the province is promoting the adoption of technology, particularly enterprise digital transformation, to enhance competitiveness, optimize production and management processes, pursue sustainable development, advance ESG (environmental, social, and governance) practices, and improve access to green finance.
