On the morning of October 10, continuing activities within the Techfest Dong Nai 2025 event, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology (DoST) organized a specialized workshop titled “Product and goods traceability and the ESG (environmental, social and governance) implementation roadmap for enterprises toward sustainable development, accessing green finance – reaching International standards.”

The workshop was attended by Pham Van Trinh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Director of the DoST, along with Deputy Directors of the DoST, leaders of associations, and business community unions inside and outside the province.
Opening the workshop, Deputy Director of the DoST, Trinh Thi Hoa, emphasized that the event provided an opportunity for experts, managers, and enterprises to exchange ideas, share experiences, and update themselves on new trends in ESG practices and the implementation of traceability. Participants also discussed advanced technological solutions such as blockchain, AI, and digital data management in support of sustainable development. The goal is to develop a practical ESG implementation roadmap tailored for Dong Nai enterprises, enabling them to effectively access green finance, enhance competitiveness, and reach international standards.

During the workshop, speakers and enterprises presented papers on product and goods traceability, highlighting the importance of digital transformation in enterprises’ sustainable development journeys, ESG practices, and necessary preparatory steps for Vietnamese enterprises aiming to advance toward sustainable development.

Other topics included digital transformation, energy savings, green development, strategies to support Vietnamese enterprises in the new period; Blockchain and AI technologies – achievements and challenges in Vietnam’s digital technology sustainable development journey; and Enterprise case studies – essential steps for Vietnamese businesses seeking transformation toward sustainable growth.
