Commercializing sci-tech and innovation products

On the afternoon of October 9, as part of the series of events for the Dong Nai Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Festival 2025 (Techfest Dong Nai 2025), the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology organized a specialized workshop on "Connecting technology supply and demand, commercializing science and technology and innovation products ".

Attending the workshop were Pham Van Trinh, Member of Provincial Party Committee and Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, along with leaders of units and centers under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Deputy Directors of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology.

Delivering the opening speech at the workshop, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology Vo Hoang Khai shared: This workshop is organized with the desire to create a substantive connection space, where scientists meet businesses, businesses meet the market, and the government plays a constructive and leading role.

The Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology clearly defines its role as "coordinating the provincial innovation ecosystem" through 3 main groups of solutions: strengthening technology supply-demand connection, supporting the commercialization of science and technology products, and promoting the local innovation ecosystem. This workshop is a specific step to create a meeting point between "ideas - technology - capital - market".

At the workshop, experts and businesses shared presentations on topics such as Trends in technology market development and supply-demand connection models in the digital economy era, as well as experiences in adopting new technologies and innovating products in businesses. They also discussed solutions to promote the science and technology market and connect technology supply and demand in the locality.

In addition, the agenda included discussions on methods for implementing technology commercialization between research institutions and businesses in Dong Nai; innovation investment funds as a lever for market development through the commercialization of technology products; and the need for technological innovation among enterprises in the context of digital transformation and green development.

On this occasion, the Center for Promoting the Development of the Science and Technology Market (under the Department of Innovation, Ministry of Science and Technology) and businesses in Dong Nai signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the technology supply-demand connection.
