Awarding prizes for science, technology, and innovation competitions in Dong Nai

On October 10, as part of the Techfest Dong Nai 2025 event series, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized a program to award prizes for science, technology, startup, and innovation competitions.

Attending the program were Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Trinh, Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Department of Science and Technology, along with leaders of departments, agencies, associations, and unions of associations in the province.

Accordingly, for the 2025 Dong Nai Science and Technology Communication Product Award, the Organizing Board decided to present 64 prizes, including 4 First Prizes, 8 Second Prizes, 12 Third Prizes, and 40 Consolation Prizes. Among them, the authors and author groups who won First prizes in the four categories will receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in addition to prize money and a trophy from the Organizing Board.

Specifically, in the print and online newspaper category for professionals, this year's award attracted a large number of reporters and editors from local and central press agencies. As a result, the author group Khanh Minh,  Binh Nguyen (Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television) won First Prize with the 3-part series "Dong Nai agriculture on the digital transformation journey."

In the print and online newspaper category for non-professionals, author Tran Thi Thu Hien (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) won First Prize with the 3-part series "Digitizing festivals - A platform for preserving Dong Nai's culture and history."

In the radio category, the author group Dao Dung, Le Thuy, Tuyet Kha, and Quang Son (Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television) won First Prize for their two-part work titled "Dong Nai's breakthrough in high-tech agricultural investment and digital transformation."

For the television genre, the author group Tran Thi Kim Thuy, Tran Gia Vinh, Trinh Hoang Vu, Ho Hoang Hai, Nguyen Hoang Huan, and Nguyen Huu Manh (Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television) won First Prize with the work "High-tech imprint - Elevating Dong Nai healthcare."

As for the Dong Nai Provincial Innovative Startup Competition 2025, the project "Reference book titled '250 situations to help students practice situation handling in civic education at the junior high school level'" by author Nguyen Thi Hong Tuyen won First prize.

Projects selected for the Second Prize include: "Edubot-Programming education robot for high school students" by the author group Du Thi Thanh Xuan, Tong Van Quynh, Nguyen Dang Khoa, and "Diversifying the production of edible mushroom spawn and cultivation towards circular agriculture" by the author group Nguyen Thi My, Dang Thi Huong, Dang Thi Dieu Hien, Hoang Thai Minh, Hoang Le Viet.

The projects that won the Third Prize include: "Wireless electric float switch for water pumps using solar energy" by Nguyen Hong Son; "Community tourism in Ta Lai village" by Ka Tuyen; and "Rubber sheet drying system (UDS)" by Doan Quyet Tien.
