On September 15, a working delegation from the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, headed by Deputy Director Nguyen Minh Quang, held working sessions with Loc Quang Commune and the border communes of Loc Thanh and Tan Tien about the implementation of digital transformation initiatives in the area.

According to the Loc Quang Commune People’s Committee, it has fully equipped the commune Public Administrative Service Center with an automated queuing system, information display screens, a public address system and public satisfaction assessment devices. From July 1 to September 12, the commune People’s Committee received and processed over 2,100 applications, of which 99.4% were submitted online.
Regarding Loc Thanh Commune, its People’s Committee currently has four official accounts for receiving and returning administrative procedure results for citizens and businesses at its Public Administrative Service Center. Those with access to these accounts have received comprehensive training on information security and cybersecurity protocols. This training specifically highlighted the proper procedures for accessing citizen information via the National Population Database. Since July 1, the rate of applications with fully digitized components at the time of receipt has reached over 98.8%.

According to the People’s Committee of Tan Tien Commune, following the establishment of the two-tier local administration model, the commune People’s Committee has prioritized investment and deployment of IT infrastructure, including local area networks, internet connectivity, and dedicated data transmission lines at the commune People’s Committee office.
Regarding the digitization of administrative procedures, from July 1 to September 10, statistics from the “Digitized Records Statistical Report” section on motcua.dongnai.gov.vn indicate that over 97.4% of applications received by the commune had all dossier components fully digitized.

During his working sessions with the aforementioned communes, Deputy Director Nguyen Minh Quang of the Dong Nai Province’s Department of Science and Technology underscored the need for continued efforts in implementing digital transformation, advancing administrative reforms, and executing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on fostering breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digitalization, particularly in remote, border, and underserved communes.
He stressed local authorities to take proactive steps in coordinating and sharing information with the Department of Science and Technology and relevant bodies to swiftly resolve issues related to digital transformation and the application of science and technology. Collaboration with telecommunications service providers was also highlighted to ensure seamless operation of the commune’s internal LAN networks. These measures are expected to enhance the efficiency of administrative reforms and information technology adoption within the two-tier local administration model.
