Lac Hong University to participate in Robocon Vietnam 2025

(ĐN)- On May 26, Lac Hong University held a send-off ceremony for its teams participating in the Vietnam Robot Creation Competition 2025 (Robocon Vietnam 2025).

This year, a total of 68 members from 2 faculties: Mechatronics - Electronics and Information Technology of the university are participating, divided into 5 teams to compete. Before departing, the teams underwent serious training and participated in 4 internal warm-up tournaments to improve tactical skills, test competition strategies, and perfect robot control techniques.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Rector of Lac Hong University, the university's Robocon teams have received support from several businesses, both in terms of materials and technology, to participate in the competition. Specifically, SMC Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored pneumatic equipment worth 50 million VND; Mabuchi Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored motors worth 25 million VND; Henkel Adhesive Technologies Vietnam Co., Ltd. (both located in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park) supported threadlocking adhesive and robot manufacturing costs, totaling 35 million VND.

The Robocon Vietnam 2025 competition will take place from June 3 to 13 at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium. The preliminary round will take place from June 4 to 6; the final round will take place from June 8 to 13.
