(ĐN)- Dong Nai is now implementing four waste-to-energy projects to enhance waste treatment and generate renewable energy.
Notably, the project in Vinh Cuu district’s Vinh Tan commune with a capacity of 1,200 tons/day and power generation of 30MW, has nearly completed its feasibility study and basic design. The province is planning to organize a bidding process to select investors.
In Dinh Quan district, the waste-to-energy plant in Tuc Trung treatment zone, developed by Dong Nai Environmental Energy JSC, has a capacity of 700–1,000 tons/day and is currently undergoing legal procedures.
The W2E Dong Nai project in Long Thanh district’s Bau Can commune, invested by Phuc Thien Long Co., Ltd., has a capacity of 1,500 tons/day and 30MW of electricity using pyrolysis technology. The investor is in the process of negotiating and signing cooperation agreements with potential partners.
The fourth project in Thong Nhat district’s Quang Trung commune, developed by Sonadezi Services JSC, has a capacity of 400–600 tons/day. The company is working with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) on grid connection plans and selecting appropriate technology for investment.
