On the afternoon of June 29, as part of their working visit to Dong Nai, a high-ranking delegation from Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, led by Dr. Alounxay Sounnalath, Member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Champasak Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and worked with Vietnam Co Co Food Joint Stock Company in Ho Nai Ward and VINA Co., Ltd. in Phuoc Tan Ward.

Joining the delegation was Phonsy Bounmixay, Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Ho Chi Minh City. Representing Dong Nai city leadership was Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Van Mi.
At the working sessions, leaders of the two enterprises introduced their development history, production capacity, key products and long-term development strategies, with a focus on modernization, high-tech applications, quality enhancement, value chain development and sustainable growth. They also expressed their pleasure at welcoming the high-ranking delegation from Champasak Province to learn about their production and business operations.

Business leaders emphasized that the special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos provides a solid foundation for enterprises from both countries to strengthen connectivity and expand investment and trade cooperation. They noted that the visit not only provided an opportunity to showcase the companies’ manufacturing capabilities, technologies and products, but also helped enhance exchanges and mutual understanding, opening up new opportunities for cooperation between Dong Nai enterprises and partners in Champasak Province across various sectors.
The business leaders also expressed their desire to further expand cooperation with Lao partners, particularly those in Champasak Province, while reaffirming their commitment to continuously upgrading technology, improving production capacity and contributing to economic development as well as strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Alounxay Sounnalath highly appreciated the investment scale, production capacity, technological level, and sustainable development orientation of the businesses. He stated that the results achieved by the businesses are evidence of the dynamic development of the Dong Nai business community and expressed his hope that businesses would continue to strengthen cooperation with partners and expand markets in Champasak Province in areas where they have strengths.
