Cultural imagery and videos highlighting ethnic heritage are being displayed on television screens at polling stations, creating a welcoming and familiar environment for voters, particularly ethnic minority residents.
As one of the oldest voters in polling station No. 9, Son Thuy hamlet, Tho Son commune, Dieu Yion, an 86-year-old member of the S'tieng ethnic group, shared: "I have cast my vote many times to exercise my civic rights and duties, but this time feels especially sacred and fills me with pride, because this is the first election held under the two-tier local government model. I will go to polling station No. 9 very early to exercise my rights and civic duties; and at the same time, encourage my children and grandchildren of voting age to head to the polls early, contributing to the success of the election."
