In the enthusiastic atmosphere as the country heads towards its great festival, the day when all citizens exercise their rights and duties through the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, thousands of workers in Dong Nai are actively preparing to participate in the country’s major political event with a high sense of responsibility and deep trust.

On the evening of March 12, Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Labor Federation, visited several rental housing areas in An Hoa neighborhood, Bien Hoa Ward, to observe preparations among workers for the election. The visit was part of a peak campaign to inform and encourage Youth Union members and employees, particularly migrant workers living in rented accommodation, to participate in the vote and fully exercise their civic rights and responsibilities on election day, March 15, 2026.
At the rental housing areas, leaders of the provincial Labor Federation and the Bien Hoa Ward Trade Union met workers to provide them with information about the election process, helping the workers access election-related information more directly, fully and transparently ahead of the vote. Workers were also reminded to arrange their schedules so they could vote at the designated polling station at Hoa An Primary School. The activity aims to encourage workers to demonstrate civic responsibility and help elect representatives who will safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of trade union members and employees.

Across many businesses in the province, election propaganda work has been implemented through various forms to help workers better understand their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Companies have displayed banners, broadcast information through internal loudspeaker systems, and screened instructional videos explaining the procedures, principles and significance of the election of deputies to the 16th NA and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Specifically, at Global Powersports Manufacturing Incorporation, the grassroots trade union has stepped up communication efforts these days through practical and worker-friendly channels. During break times, through company’s bulletin boards and communication platforms, employees have been introduced to key provisions of the Election Law, criteria for candidates, and the rights and responsibilities of voters. Videos, infographics and informational materials have also been shown to help workers access information easily and gain a better understanding of the importance of participating in the election.

In rental housing areas with large numbers of workers, Trade Unions of wards and communes have also actively organized many propaganda activities about the election. Trade Union officials have visited each rental housing area to meet with workers and share essential information about the upcoming vote.
With a high sense of responsibility, deep trust and expectations for capable representatives, workers have clearly shown a sense of mastery, ready to contribute to the overall success of the election, thereby continuing to build and develop the locality and the country in the new period.
