At the meeting, delegates also raised several difficulties and obstacles related to compensation, support for site clearance, and completion of land-related legal documents. Many projects have been slow to get underway, prolonged in implementation, or have yet to put land into use as required, leading to encroachment, unauthorized cultivation, and improper land use within project areas.
In his directive remarks at the meeting, Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, appreciated the efforts of the locality in maintaining security and preparing for the upcoming election. He requested departments, sectors, and localities strengthen coordination, urgently review projects in the border-gate economic zone, and decisively handle delayed or inefficient land-use projects, as well as accelerate the completion of legal procedures and remove obstacles in compensation and site clearance in order to create favorable conditions for investors.
The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also requested further improvement of the operational efficiency of the Hoa Lu International Border Gate; reviewing land areas, marking boundaries and synchronously planning the border-gate area; gradually repairing and upgrading infrastructure, strengthening border diplomatic exchanges and promoting investment in connecting transport systems, thereby creating momentum for economic development in the border area and the border gate economic zone in the time ahead.
