Dong Nai has many industrial parks, attracting a large workforce from provinces and cities across the country to live and work. Taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers and employees (employees) is a fundamental solution for employees to feel secure in their commitment to businesses, contributing to the province's development.

On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Horse, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of the province have proactively coordinated to organize many activities, contributing to bringing a warm Tet full of love to young workers, employees, and children of young workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
Caring for life
Phan The Cong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation, said: Dong Nai is a place that attracts a large workforce, especially young laborers from provinces and cities across the country to live and work. All levels and sectors of Dong Nai province always pay attention to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers and employees.
In recent years, under the leadership and direction of the Youth Union Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation Committee have continuously innovated the content and methods of operation, implementing many practical programs to accompany, support, and comprehensively care for union members, young workers, and children of young workers in difficult circumstances. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Provincial Youth Union directed all levels of the Youth Union, Associations, and Young Pioneers’ Associations to organize Tet care activities for young workers and children of young workers in difficult circumstances, based on the actual situation in each locality and unit. Based on the direction of the Provincial Youth Union, grassroots Youth Union, Associations, and Teams, especially in areas with a large number of young workers, have proactively mobilized resources and coordinated to organize gift-giving, cultural, artistic, and sports activities for young workers and their children.
In parallel with the "Spring of Love - Happy Tet with Young Workers" program, on this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation also coordinated to organize the 2026 Men's Football Tournament for Young Workers, contributing to creating healthy playgrounds for young workers after hard working days.
The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Federation, from the beginning of January 2026, implemented the "Bring Tet Home" program, organized by the Youth Union Central Committee in coordination with Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Co., Ltd. and the Pepsi brand, to grassroots Youth Union and Associations. At the same time, they promoted communication on the social media pages of the Youth Union and Associations; organized support for students, young workers, and laborers to register for the program. Thereby, students, young workers, and employees in difficult circumstances studying and working in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province, whose hometowns are in the provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An, had the opportunity to return home to celebrate Tet with their families.
In addition, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation coordinated to organize the "Spring of Love" and "Happy Tet with Young Workers" programs in Tan Trieu ward. Within the program, the Organizing board presented over 400 gifts to children of young workers, young workers, and employees in difficult circumstances in Tan Trieu ward. Beyond gift-giving activities, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Vietnam Youth Federation also coordinated with the Dong Nai Children's House to organize many traditional games with prizes for children of young workers. "Through these activities, we hope to contribute to caring for young workers and their children not only in terms of material life but also spiritually, helping young workers and their children feel the Tet atmosphere closer. At the same time, we want to instill more faith and motivation for young workers to continue to be attached to the land of Dong Nai," said Phan The Cong.
Instilling more faith and motivation
As both of his parents are workers and have not yet finished their shifts, Duong Nguyen Tan Phat, a fifth grader of class 5/6 at Chu Van An Primary School (Tan Trieu Ward) was driven by her older sister to the Tan Trieu Ward Cultural, Sports and Community Learning Center to receive Tet gifts. Here, he participated in many fun games all afternoon.
Tan Phat said: I have congenital conjunctivitis, it's a bit difficult to see far, and sometimes my eyes itch and hurt. When I participated in the program, I saw my friends having fun, so I joined in too. The games were very engaging, not only bringing laughter but also helping me connect with friends and practice dexterity and quickness. I hope there will be more playgrounds like this so that I and many other children have the opportunity to participate in fun activities and practice skills after stressful study hours.
Having been associated with Dong Nai and Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. for many years, Bui Thi Phuc Tram, a worker at Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd., is well-versed in the social welfare policies from the enterprise as well as the activities of the Youth Union, Association, and Young Pioneer organizations for young workers and children of young workers in difficult circumstances every Tet holiday.
Phuc Tram shared: For many years, before the Lunar New Year, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of the province have coordinated with Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. to organize the "Spring of Love - Happy Tet with Young Workers" program. Participating in the program, young workers and their children can take part in many activities such as: a cultural performance program to celebrate the Party and Spring, receiving gifts, and folk games with prizes. In some years, the program also included a Five-Fruit Tray Decoration Contest for youth union branches and youth associations in boarding houses.
According to Tram, the "Happy Tet with Young Workers" program, organized at the end of the lunar year, is very practical and meaningful, contributing to spreading the Tet atmosphere and bringing a warm and joyful Tet to young workers and children of young workers in difficult circumstances. This companionship helps young workers and employees feel secure in their work, considering Dong Nai as their second home for long-term residence and development.
These practical actions contribute to providing young workers with a warm and meaningful Tet, giving them more motivation to overcome difficulties, remain committed, work creatively, and actively contribute to the overall development of the enterprise and Dong Nai province in the new period.
