PPC’s Standing Deputy Secretary Ton Ngoc Hanh offers incense at historical relics

On February 12, a working delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee (PPC), People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee, led by Ton Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, offered incense at historical relics across the province.

Joining the working delegation were Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the PPC; Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Head of the PPC’s Organization Commission; Le Truong Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and other delegates.

The delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the National Historical Relic Site of the Headquarters of the Central Office for South Vietnam (1961–1962) and the Headquarters of the Southeastern Regional Party Committee.

In a solemn and reverent atmosphere, leaders of the PPC, People’s Council, People’s Committee and VFF Committee, together with provincial armed forces and delegates, respectfully offered flowers and incense and observed a minute of silence in tribute to heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation.

After paying tribute at the historical sites, the delegation visited and offered incense at the Ma Da Martyrs’ Cemetery. This activity formed part of practical events celebrating the Party’s founding anniversary and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

On this occasion, the provincial working delegation also presented gifts to the Management Board of the National Historical Relic Site of the Headquarters of the Central Office for South Vietnam (1961–1962), the Headquarters of the Southeastern Regional Party Committee Base, and forest rangers tasked with protecting and preserving the forests of the D War Zone.
