NA deputies visit and present Tet gifts to policy families and disadvantaged households

On the morning of February 2, a delegation of National Assembly (NA) deputies from Dong Nai province, including Bui Xuan Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial delegation of NA Deputies, and Le Hoang Hai, full-time NA deputy at the NA's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, visited and presented Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households and people in difficult circumstances in the province.

At the event, the delegation presented 60 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, to residents in four communes of Dau Giay, Binh Minh, An Vien and Phu Ly. The funding was sourced from social contributions mobilized by the provincial NA Delegation and benefactors personally connected by Deputy Le Hoang Hai.

Addressing residents at the gift-giving ceremonies, the NA deputies said that the provincial NA Delegation always wishes to accompany and work alongside Party committees and local government in social welfare activities, particularly in supporting vulnerable groups, thereby promoting the nation’s spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance. Although the material value of each gift was modest, it reflected the care, responsibility and sharing of the provincial NA Delegation, contributing to helping local people enjoy a warmer and more meaningful Tet.

On this occasion, the NA deputies extended their best Tet wishes to local residents and expressed their appreciation to Party committees and local government for their attention, coordination and support, which have facilitated the delegation’s activities over recent years.
