Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh emphasized that the province is focusing its leadership and direction with the highest sense of responsibility and strongest determination to successfully fulfill its assigned tasks, ensuring that the election is conducted democratically, in accordance with the law, safely and successfully.

Building consensus and momentum toward electoral day

As an area with a large ethnic minority population accounting for about 32 percent of local residents, Tan Hung commune has led and directed election organization comprehensively and methodically, closely following higher-level guidance. Party Secretary and Chairman of People’s Council of Tan Hung commune Mac Dinh Huan shared that the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Election Committee of the commune proactively developed plans, clearly assigned responsibilities, and synchronously directed key tasks ranging from organizational consolidation and facilities preparation to ensuring security and order, as well as information and communication work.

Also according to Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, given local characteristics and population structure, particular importance has been attached to communication and propaganda work. Communication has been carried out in diverse and flexible forms, including grassroots broadcasting; integration into Party cell meetings, residential group activities and mass organizations; and the display of banners and panels in residential areas and at polling stations. In addition, the Commune Integrated Service Center has opened a dedicated election communication section on its portal and fanpage, publishing news articles and infographics, while integrating election-related content into cultural and sports activities. These efforts have helped raise awareness, build consensus and create a vibrant atmosphere toward the national electoral festival.

At the provincial level, reporting at a recent central inspection and supervision session on election work in Dong Nai, Member of the PPC and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan said that the province has implemented diverse communication methods, with a focus on both breadth and depth. Alongside building an election information portal, the province has intensified visual propaganda and organized multiple rounds of mobile communication campaigns, prioritizing remote and disadvantaged areas. At the same time, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRT) has increased airtime and coverage of election-related content, while dedicated election sections and columns have been strengthened, contributing to the wide dissemination of official information among the public.

At the grassroots level, 95 communes and wards, along with provincial departments, sectors and mass organizations, have intensified communication on digital platforms with approachable and easy-to-understand formats, creating positive interactive effects. Public opinion monitoring has been conducted regularly, enabling timely and appropriate communication tailored to the characteristics of each locality and target group.

Firmly ensuring security and order

Alongside communication efforts, digital transformation has been identified as an important solution to enhance the effectiveness of election leadership and administration. Also at the recent central inspection and supervision session, Member of the PPC and Director of the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) Pham Van Trinh noted that the province has built a provincial election information portal and deployed a shared election information management software system, contributing to stronger application of digital technology in election organization.

Acknowledging the locality’s efforts, at the inspection and supervision session, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the State and Vice Chairwoman of the National Election Council Vo Thi Anh Xuan highly appreciated the proactive and serious spirit of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Dong Nai Provincial Election Committee. She affirmed that Dong Nai has demonstrated many bright spots in election implementation, with key tasks such as professional training, information and communication, and the assurance of political security, social order and safety being carried out in a timely and synchronized manner. These efforts have created favorable conditions for election organization at a time when the province is simultaneously implementing many important tasks at the beginning of the year and the new term.

In parallel, the DoST has coordinated with the Provincial Public Security to inspect and certify 100 percent of connection devices in communes and wards, while advising on the establishment of technical support teams to ensure smooth operation of data systems and transmission lines. Viettel and VNPT have arranged personnel on duty to provide technical support at grassroots election committees. For areas with weak signal coverage, the province has basically ensured connectivity at all polling stations, while continuing to review and request telecommunications providers to improve internet quality and speed to meet election service requirements.

The work of ensuring security and order across the province has also been implemented proactively and closely. According to Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of Dong Nai Public Security, from a very early stage, the Provincial Police issued plans and synchronously deployed measures to ensure security and order for the election. To date, the security and order situation in the province has remained basically stable, with no complex incidents arising related to election work.

In the coming period, the police force will continue to firmly grasp the situation early and from afar; proactively advise Party committees and authorities in resolving issues at the grassroots level; focus on ensuring religious security, worker security and border security; strengthen cyberspace management to promptly detect and counter false and harmful information; and simultaneously launch a peak campaign to suppress crimes and ensure traffic order and safety throughout the election period.

From provincial-level leadership and direction to concrete implementation at the grassroots, it is evident that Dong Nai is preparing for the election with a proactive, responsible and highly determined spirit. The synchronized participation of the entire political system, together with strengthened communication, accelerated digital transformation and firmly ensured security and order, is creating an important foundation for the election of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term to be conducted democratically, lawfully and safely, truly becoming a festival of entire people.
