The success of the 14th National Party Congress is a particularly important political event, demonstrating the stature, intellect, and mettle of a ruling party that continuously renews and rectifies itself to meet the requirements of national development in a new phase. The Congress set out major strategic orientations, strongly inspiring the aspiration for rapid and sustainable development toward the goal of “a prosperous people, a strong country, democracy, equity, and civilization.”

Within this broader context, Dong Nai province—a locality that plays a key role as a development driver of the Southeast region—is steadily translating the spirit of the 14th Congress into concrete and practical action programs, closely linking economic development with Party building and the construction of a clean and strong political system. Practical experience in Dong Nai continues to affirm a consistent truth of the Vietnamese revolution: where there is correct Party leadership, there is political stability, socio-economic development, and public trust.

Communist Party of Vietnam – the decisive factor in all revolutionary victories

Founded on February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam put an end to the crisis of national salvation pathways and ushered the Vietnamese revolution into a new stage of development. Over 96 years of building and growth, the Party has led the people to win national independence, reunify the country, carry out comprehensive renewal, and gradually integrate deeply into the region and the world.

For Dong Nai, Party leadership has always been the decisive factor behind all of its achievements. From a locality that suffered severe consequences of war, Dong Nai has risen to become one of the country’s major industrial centers, making important contributions to national economic growth, maintaining political and social stability, and improving people’s livelihoods.

The 14th Congress – the unity of will and inspiration for development aspirations

The 14th Party Congress clearly reflected the spirit of solidarity, democracy, discipline, renewal, and development, while reaffirming the path toward socialism suited to Vietnam’s practical conditions. The Congress documents emphasized the need to build a comprehensively clean and strong Party; enhance leadership and governance capacity; promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; and place the people at the center, as both the subject and the goal of development.

This spirit has been and is being concretized in Dong Nai through the issuance and implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, marked by strong political determination, increasingly methodical and scientific implementation approaches, and a focus on substantive effectiveness.

Practical implementation of Party resolutions in Dong Nai demonstrates proactiveness and creativity in translating central policies into action, closely tied to the accountability of heads of agencies and strengthened inspection and supervision. The socio-economic development results achieved in recent years serve as vivid evidence of the effectiveness of the Provincial Party Committee’s leadership. In 2025, Dong Nai’s economic scale (GRDP) was estimated at nearly 678 trillion VND, up 9.63% year-on-year, placing the province among localities with high growth rates nationwide. State budget revenue exceeded 100 trillion VND for the first time, reaching about 142% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister, underscoring the strong momentum of the economy and the governance capacity of local authorities.

Investment attraction continued to be a bright spot, with total domestic investment exceeding 163 trillion VND and foreign direct investment (FDI) surpassing 3 billion USD, placing Dong Nai among the top five localities nationwide in FDI attraction. Total import-export turnover exceeded 34 billion USD, reaffirming the province’s role as a central hub for manufacturing, industry, and logistics within the national value chain.

The cultural and social sectors recorded many positive developments. Living standards continued to improve; GRDP per capita was estimated at over 150 million VND per year; the province created new jobs for around 131,000 workers, surpassing targets. Cultural and tourism activities recovered and developed markedly, with about 3.4 million visitors, contributing to improved spiritual life and promoting the image of a dynamic and compassionate Dong Nai.

These impressive figures not only reflect the locality’s potential and advantages, but more importantly serve as vivid proof of the consistent leadership role of the Provincial Party Committee in guiding, organizing, and overseeing the development process.

Moving forward with confidence under Party’s glorious banner

In the lead-up to the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3), each cadre and Party member in Dong Nai feels even greater pride in the Party’s glorious tradition, while also becoming more deeply aware of their responsibility to study, internalize, and successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.

Alongside economic development, Dong Nai places particular emphasis on Party building and the political system. The province focuses on improving the quality of grassroots Party cell activities, tightening discipline and order; resolutely and persistently combating corruption and negativity; and building a contingent of cadres and Party members with firm political resolve, moral integrity, and a high sense of responsibility. In this context, ideological work, communication, and the press play an especially important role. Dong Nai’s press not only accurately and promptly reflects the province’s development reality, but also helps orient public opinion, consolidate public trust, and firmly safeguard the Party’s ideological foundation.

The road ahead presents intertwined opportunities and challenges. However, with the mettle, intellect, and prestige proven through 96 years of practice, the Communist Party of Vietnam will continue to be the guiding banner of renewal and sustainable development for the country. Under the Party’s leadership, Dong Nai is determined to further promote its role as a growth-driving locality, joining the rest of the nation in building an increasingly prosperous and happy Vietnam.
