On the afternoon of January 10, Colonel Bui Van Sy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command, led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to poor students, elderly people in difficult circumstances, and revolutionary contributors in Cat Tien commune, Lam Dong province. Also present were Colonel Nguyen Danh Trang, Head of the Political Department of the Provincial Military Command, and local leaders.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Colonel Bui Van Sy extended his best wishes for good health to the staff, teachers, and students of Phu My Primary School and Cat Tien commune, as well as the disadvantaged people who received gifts. He expressed his hope that these small gifts would carry added meaning, helping the poor people and students enjoy a warm spring filled with the close bond between the military and the people. He also hoped that the people would continue to unite, work diligently, develop their economy, escape poverty, and improve their lives.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 50 gifts to students and people in difficult circumstances. These included 10 gifts for poor students at Phu My Primary School, consisting of notebooks, pens, school supplies, some essential items, and cash; 20 gifts for elderly people in difficult circumstances; and 20 gifts for households of people with meritorious service in Cat Tien Commune.
