At the working session, leaders of the two commune-level Party Committees reported outstanding achievements in 2025: Following the completion of the two-tier local government restructuring, the Party committee apparatus, government and local mass organisations quickly stabilised and focused on accelerating socio-economic development while maintaining national defence and security. Greater attention was given to land and mineral management, construction order and transport infrastructure improvements, making an essential contribution to the province’s budget revenues.

As two key growth drivers, Nhon Trach and Dai Phuoc are undertaking several major transport infrastructure projects that connect to Ho Chi Minh City, including the Phu My 2 Bridge, Cat Lai Bridge, the Thu Thiem–Long Thanh urban railway, and the North–South high-speed railway. To effectively manage the substantial volume of site clearance, the two communes proposed that the province support compensation and resettlement efforts, allowing for the flexible relocation of residents to existing resettlement areas in Phuoc An commune. They also suggested that the province continue to prioritize funding for schools and urban infrastructure, and take decisive action to revoke delayed projects to attract new, capable investors.

Delivering his directive speech at the working session, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the efforts of two localities in operating the new administrative apparatus, improving effectiveness of administrative reform, and advancing key projects, thereby achieving tangible results in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and contributing to the successful implementation of the province’s 2025 tasks. However, comrade Vo Tan Duc also pointed out shortcomings among civil servants during the transition to the two-tier local government model and noted that land clearance needed to be addressed to fulfill assigned tasks more effectively.

Emphasizing key tasks for 2026, comrade Vo Tan Duc called on Nhon Trach and Dai Phuoc communes to promptly finalize their 2026 action programs, foster a spirit of unity and innovation, and strive for the successful implementation of the Party Congress resolutions at all levels for the 2025–2030 term. He emphasized that commune-level Party Standing Committees must focus on enhancing the leadership capacity of neighborhood Party cells, strictly uphold the principles of democratic centralism and the exemplary role of leaders, and place special emphasis on training young cadres to adapt to the new management model quickly.

Regarding infrastructure, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, instructed the provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments and sectors to promptly allocate funds for upgrading and constructing major arterial roads, and to definitively resolve policy-related issues for redundant staff following the administrative merger. The provincial Federation of Labor is required to promptly issue coordination regulations with commune-level Party Committees to establish Party organizations within enterprises. Patrols and controls to ensure public order and traffic safety must be strengthened, particularly during the 14th National Party Congress, upcoming holidays, and the Lunar New Year.
