Notably, the commune’s total state budget revenue in 2025 reached 263.24% of the estimates assigned by the province and the Commune People’s Council. Disbursement of public investment capital has so far reached 95% of the plan. Major projects, including the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway and Road 25C passing through the commune, have received focused leadership with strong determination, while site clearance has seen positive progress.
Land management, construction order, and management of natural resources and minerals have been strengthened through inspections. Political security and social order and safety have been maintained. The development of new Party members reached 105% of the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee.
Alongside these achievements, Long Phuoc commune continues to face many difficulties. The commune is short of staff, with both the Party and State sectors lacking nine positions, while the commune police force currently has only 24 out of 43 assigned personnel. After the establishment of the new Long Phuoc commune, three separate working offices were arranged, located far apart. Existing headquarters are degraded and cramped, failing to meet current standards and norms for accommodating officials, civil servants and public employees.
The consolidation of personnel for grassroots Party committees and Party cells, including those at schools and hamlets, has been carried out regularly but has yet to meet requirements in terms of quantity and quality.
Many compensation, clearance and resettlement projects are underway in the area, significantly affecting local residents’ lives. The transportation of construction materials for major projects has caused environmental pollution and deterioration of transport infrastructure, impacting rural security.

To facilitate the implementation of assigned targets and tasks, the commune leadership proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee consider several issues. Large national- and provincial-level projects are being implemented in the commune, but connecting roads remain inadequate, seriously affecting residents’ lives. The province was urged to soon invest in expanding the Long Phuoc – Bau Can road to meet local development needs and stabilise livelihoods.
The commune also proposed early investment in building a new Commune People’s Committee headquarters and a commune health station; policies to attract investment in a market–commercial centre; and the construction of an additional high school to meet local education demand. It further called for investment in industrial projects and regional connectivity projects such as services, tourism and free trade zones, with the goal of promoting socio-economic development and transforming Long Phuoc into an urban area in the coming period.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the Long Phuoc Commune Party Committee to fully absorb all guidance and feedback from participants, and to soon finalise an action programme for implementing tasks in 2026. He stressed the need to uphold solidarity, innovation and creativity, resolutely address shortcomings, and improve the effectiveness of the political system, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the provincial and commune Party congresses for the 2025–2030 term.

He also called for continued improvement in the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organisations, especially hamlet-level Party cells, with greater emphasis on the quality of Party cell meetings linked to addressing practical grassroots issues. Attention should be paid to training and fostering young and newly appointed cadres to adapt to the two-tier local government model.
The commune was urged to take a more proactive approach in investment preparation and site clearance, avoiding a year-end workload congestion. It should effectively leverage advantages in industry, trade and services, in line with central and provincial resolutions on private economic development.
Deputy Secretary Vo Tan Duc emphasised the need to further accelerate comprehensive digital transformation, placing people and businesses at the centre of service delivery. Dedicated human resources for digital transformation should be arranged and stabilised, avoiding prolonged dual assignments. Data review and standardisation, particularly land data, should be expedited to ensure substantive use and avoid formality.

He also stressed the strict maintenance of combat readiness duties to prevent passivity or surprise situations.
For the implementation of tasks in 2026, the commune should develop focused programmes and plans with clear roadmaps and defined responsibilities, linking socio-economic development tasks with the successful organisation of elections for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–31 term. The locality was encouraged to proactively propose appropriate mechanisms and policies to enhance local autonomy.
Regarding the commune’s proposals, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Tan Duc assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee to direct relevant agencies to study the recommendations and proposals of the Long Phuoc Commune Party Committee, in order to formulate appropriate policies to strengthen support for the commune in fulfilling its assigned targets, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development and national defence-security.
