The peak consultation period for the draft documents took place from October 15 to November 15, 2025. Within one month, millions of comments were sent to the Party, reflecting a strong sense of democracy, trust, and responsibility as the entire nation seeks to contribute to Party building and national development in a new era of national rise.

Harnessing the wisdom and dedication of the entire Party and the people

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, alongside the rest of the country, officials, Party members, and residents in Dong Nai submitted more than 100,000 comments on the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress. Of these, more than 104,000 comments were collected through consultation meetings, over 35,900 comments were submitted via the VNeID application, and nearly 500 were sent in writing.

Luong Thanh Tung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Xuan Bac Commune Party Committee, noted that the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress were carefully and scientifically developed, demonstrating determination, positivity, innovative thinking, strategic vision, breakthroughs, and aspirations for national development in the new period. People expect the congress to be a great success, paving the way for sound policies that will make the country more prosperous and improve living standards.

Pham Van Hoang, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Literature and Arts Association, emphasized that the Central Committee’s decision to gather widespread public feedback on the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress is a highly appropriate policy, demonstrating democracy, openness, and respect for the wisdom of the people. He said that the congress documents are not only a summary of the nation’s development path but also a guiding framework for the coming years. Therefore, listening to the people - those who directly benefit from development outcomes and contribute daily to the nation’s progress - is extremely important.

Notably, this round of consultation expanded beyond institutions, organizations, or intellectual groups to include all segments of society. This allowed citizens to voice their thoughts, expectations, and concerns about current issues affecting their daily lives. Such authentic and vivid insights help ensure the documents align more closely with real-life conditions and the aspirations of the people.

“The broad participation of the public in contributing ideas to the Draft Documents for the 14th National Party Congress creates social consensus - an essential factor for implementing major policies after the congress. When people are heard, respected, and given the opportunity to speak, they will remain engaged, supportive, and willing to contribute further to national development,” Hoang stressed.

Unwavering trust in the Party

Nguyen Tam Lanh, Secretary of Thuan Phu 2 Hamlet Party Cell under the Thuan Loi Commune Party Committee, said the development viewpoints, national goals, orientations, key tasks, and solutions outlined in the Draft Political Report for the 14th National Party Congress reflect the strong aspiration of the entire Vietnamese nation to rise in the new era. People expect the 14th National Party Congress to be a success and believe the Party will continue to lead the country toward prosperity so that people across all regions can enjoy a better and happier life.

Nguyen Thi Loan, Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, said most comments from officials, Party members, and local residents agreed with the evaluation of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the country’s achievements after 40 years of “Doi moi” (renewal), as presented in the Draft Political Report. They also concurred with the viewpoints and goals for national development in the new phase.

In addition, many suggestions were made for the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

Specifically, some recommended adding economic growth data and comparative indicators; clarifying achievements in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, e-government building, and the contribution of the digital economy to GRDP. They suggested highlighting more strongly the achievements in Covid-19 prevention and control during the past term, considered a major success of the Party and the State that enabled Viet Nam to recover quickly after the pandemic. Others proposed more assessments of domestic developments and a clearer emphasis on the Party and State’s leadership amid global challenges. Comments also focused on the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices; Party inspection and supervision; and the enforcement of Party discipline.

As the 14th National Party Congress approaches, with steadfast trust in the Party’s leadership and the strength of national unity, the Vietnamese people continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, striving for a strong, prosperous, happy Viet Nam advancing firmly toward socialism.

Other recommendations included the need to strengthen the protection of the Party’s ideological foundations; counter wrongful and hostile views in cyberspace; ensure coherence across national systems; preserve cultural identity; safeguard independence and sovereignty; promote growth model innovation in tandem with environmental protection; and pay greater attention to economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Several comments suggested integrating artificial intelligence into the general education curriculum and improving mechanisms to control power in personnel work.

Additional proposals emphasized strengthening the role of collective and cooperative economies as important tools for improving livelihoods; attracting more foreign investment into key sectors; and establishing specific incentive policies to encourage skilled officials and experts to work and contribute at grassroots levels, especially in high-tech agriculture and healthcare.

Through all the feedback collected, it is clear that the Party’s strength lies in its deep-rooted bond with the people. The Party listens to the people, and the people place their trust in the Party. United under the Party’s leadership, the nation continues its journey toward a prosperous, happy Viet Nam rising in the new era.
