Le Nu Thuy Duong awarded "Hero of Labor" title

On December 6, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province held a ceremony to award the Hero of Labor title to Le Nu Thuy Duong, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of Long Thanh Golf Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company.

Attending the ceremony were: General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army; Nguyen Chi Dung, Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister; former Politburo member and former State President Nguyen Minh Triet; former Politburo member and former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; along with other former Party and State leaders and representatives of central ministries, agencies, and departments.

At the ceremony, Doan Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, announced the State President’s decision to award the Hero of Labor title to Le Nu Thuy Duong, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Long Thanh Golf Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company.

On behalf of the State President, Nguyen Chi Dung, a Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister, officially awarded the Hero of Labor title to Le Nu Thuy Duong.

In her remarks after receiving the prestigious honor, Le Nu Thuy Duong expressed that being awarded the Hero of Labor title is not only a personal achievement but also a great source of joy and pride for her family and the team of colleagues who have supported her throughout her journey. She noted that recognition by the Party and the State serves as both a proud milestone and a motivation to further develop her leadership, ensure sustainable growth for her company, create practical value for society, and contribute even more to community-focused initiatives.

On behalf of the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, congratulated entrepreneur Le Nu Thuy Duong on receiving the honor of being named a Hero of Labor by the State President.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Tan Duc noted that over nearly 30 years of her career, Le Nu Thuy Duong has consistently demonstrated the qualities of a pioneering leader, with modern management thinking and a strong aspiration for sustainable development. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its production and business scale, applied advanced science and technology, promoted digital transformation, and implemented numerous major projects that have significantly contributed to the province’s growth.

Today, Long Thanh Golf Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company has developed into a multi-sector corporation with the charter capital of its companies exceeding 25,000 billion VND, a project portfolio spanning nine provinces in Vietnam and two provinces in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, with a total investment of over 120,000 billion VND. The company operates in ecosystems including urban development, tourism services, industrial logistics parks, and renewable energy.

In Dong Nai, the company has left a strong imprint through large-scale projects, making substantial contributions to socio-economic development during 2026–2030. Notably, three industrial zones covering a total area of over 2,200 hectares are expected to attract more than 30 billion USD in FDI, creating tens of thousands of jobs.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Tan Duc also acknowledged that, alongside her business achievements, Le Nu Thuy Duong is deeply philanthropic, actively participating in social and charitable activities. Over the past decade, her contributions to humanitarian and charitable causes have totaled nearly 1,000 billion VND.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Tan Duc expressed his hope that Hero of Labor Le Nu Thuy Duong will continue to uphold her family’s revolutionary and business traditions and make further contributions to the development of the province and the nation in the new era.
