Speaking at the reception, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Van shared that during the period when Hue City was heavily affected by floods, the cadres, Party members, and people of Dong Nai province closely followed the situation and deeply empathized with the difficulties and losses that Hue had to endure.
Vu Hong Van noted that although the support presented on this occasion was modest, it embodied the affection and shared sense of responsibility of Dong Nai’s cadres, Party members, and people, with the hope of contributing to Hue City’s early recovery, stabilization of livelihoods, and restoration of production after the natural disasters.
He affirmed that Dong Nai is always ready to stand alongside Hue City in the coming period, not only in addressing the consequences of natural disasters but also in long-term development tasks, including support for housing construction under social welfare programs, particularly initiatives related to the “Quang Trung Campaign”.
On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Hue City, Hue City Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung expressed his sincere appreciation and profound gratitude for the timely and heartfelt support from Dong Nai province.
The Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee said that following the floods, people’s lives have gradually stabilized, and production activities are being restored step by step. However, to fully overcome the damage caused by natural disasters, the city still requires more time and significant financial resources. Therefore, Hue City hopes to continue receiving attention and support from the central government and other localities, including Dong Nai province.
Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, added that alongside the key task of preserving and promoting the value of its cultural heritage, Hue City has identified socio-economic development as a consistent priority in the coming period. Drawing on Dong Nai’s dynamic development experience, he expressed hope that Dong Nai would continue to share its expertise in enterprise management, industrial park management, and development, as well as support Hue in attracting investment, particularly from major investors in sectors where Dong Nai has substantial practical experience.
