Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut pays Christmas visit to Our Lady of Nui Cui Pilgrimage Center

On the occasion of Christmas 2025, on the morning of December 18, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut visited and extended Christmas greetings  at the Our Lady of Nui Cui Pilgrimage Center (Thong Nhat commune) under Xuan Loc Diocese. Accompanying him were representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and Thong Nhat commune.

During his visit to the Our Lady of Nui Cui Pilgrimage Center, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut respectfully sent his greetings to the priests, dignitaries, and parishioners, wishing them a peaceful and happy Christmas season.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee happily informed the priests and dignitaries about the great achievements in socio-economic development and national defense and security of the province in 2025. In particular, the GRDP growth rate of the province in 2025 reached 9.63%, the highest increase in many years, placing Dong Nai among the provinces with the highest growth rates in the country. The province continues to do a good job of taking care of the material and spiritual life, ensuring the best freedom of belief for the people, including Catholic compatriots in the province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut shared: The socio-economic achievements of the province have been made possible with the contributions of the Catholic community, the close engagement of parishes and parishioners in the spirit of living a good life and practising a good religion, respecting God, loving the Nation, serving the people. The provincial leader hoped that the priests, dignitaries, and Catholic compatriots will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and work together to build an increasingly rich, beautiful, modern, and civilized Dong Nai province.

Expressing his joy at welcoming the provincial working delegation to visit and offer Christmas greetings, Bishop Dinh Duc Dao, former Bishop of Xuan Loc Diocese, Director of the Our Lady of Nui Cui Pilgrimage Center, expressed his appreciation for the attention of the provincial leadership, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to Catholic compatriots.

Bishop Dinh Duc Dao expressed his joy at the outstanding socio-economic development achievements of the province and the country in 2025, and assessed that the development of the province is closely related to the material and spiritual life of the people, including Catholic compatriots. The Bishop hoped: In the coming time, the center will receive the continued attention and companionship of the provincial leadership and the local government of Thong Nhat commune for its activities.
