In 2025, the situation along the Vietnam–Cambodia border under the management of the Dong Nai Provincial Border Guard remains stable. Authorities, local communities, and armed forces on the Cambodian side maintain solidarity, friendship, and effective coordination in safeguarding the border and combating crime. Political security, social order, and safety in the area are ensured, while national defence and security further consolidated. Residents in border areas actively work to improve socio-economic conditions, foster unity in building cultural life at the grassroots level, and participate in the movement to protect national border sovereignty and security.

Party and political activities of the Provincial Border Guard are closely led and directed by the Party Committee and commanders of agencies and units, and implemented synchronously, creatively, flexibly and comprehensively. The effectiveness of these efforts has been significantly enhanced over the year. Notably, the implementation of the project on restructuring local military organisations to become "lean, compact, and strong" meets operational requirements in the new context.

Party committees at all levels strictly adhere to principles of Party organisation and activities, successfully leading and directing the Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Border Guard Command for the 2025–2030 term.

Inspection and supervision tasks are carried out in accordance with set programmes and plans. Personnel work strictly complies with regulations, procedures, and guidelines, contributing to the effective safeguarding of internal political security and confidentiality.

The Border Guard continues to maintain impactful programs and models supporting local development. “Gratitude” activities are given due attention, while youth and women’s associations implement various creative and effective initiatives.

He requested that units maintain close contact with grassroots communities and coordinate closely with local authorities to promote socio-economic development in border areas, thereby contributing to building the posture of people’s hearts and minds and the people's security posture in firmly safeguarding national territorial sovereignty in all circumstances.
