On the afternoon of December 23, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, worked with the Standing Committee of the Binh Long Ward Party Committee to review the local socio-economic situation and national defense and security in 2025, as well as to outline key orientations and tasks for 2026.
Also attending the meeting were Nguyen Thi Hoang, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, along with representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, and leaders of provincial departments, sectors, units, and armed forces.

According to a report by the Binh Long Ward Party Committee, in 2025, the ward fulfilled all 18 key targets for socio-economic development, national defense and security, and Party and mass organization building, with 7 targets exceeded and 11 met. The local economy continued to grow steadily. Total gross social production value (at constant prices) exceeded 4.1 trillion VND; the production value growth rate reached 12.51 percent; and average per capita income stood at 77 million VND.
Budget revenue increased sharply, while administrative reform and public service delivery saw clear improvements. From July 1, 2025 to November 25, 2025, the ward Public Administration Service Center received 6,005 applications, with 99.9 percent resolved ahead of schedule. In terms of digital transformation, the ward launched the “Digital Literacy for All” campaign and rolled out a peak drive to popularize digital signatures, resulting in 100 percent of neighborhood heads and 2,845 adults having digital signatures installed.
Positive progress was also recorded in culture, social affairs, education and training, and science and technology fields. The movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” continued to receive strong attention. Policies on repaying debts of gratitude and social welfare were effectively implemented. The quality of public healthcare improved, while national defense and security remained stable. Party building and political system development in terms of ideology, politics, ethics and organization were further reinforced.
At the working session, Binh Long Ward submitted to the Provincial Party Committee's working delegation a number of proposals seeking support for funding to invest in the construction of educational facilities, transport infrastructure and technical infrastructure; proposed decentralizing authority to the ward People's Committee to manage, exploit and operate the Sa Cat Reservoir irrigation facility; and requested approval for the ward to carry out the liquidation of the Binh Long Water Plant, along with other recommendations related to land management, science and technology, and digital transformation. These issues were discussed, clarified and addressed by provincial leaders and representatives of departments, sectors and units at the meeting.

Speaking at the working session, Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, emphasized several key tasks that the Binh Long Ward Party Committee should focus on in 2026. These include strengthening the leadership capacity and combat effectiveness of Party organizations; building a streamlined, effective and efficient political system; focusing on socio-economic development while ensuring social welfare and improving the quality of life for residents; creating breakthroughs in administrative reform and digital transformation, with public and business satisfaction as the benchmark; thoroughly addressing bottlenecks in public investment; maintaining national defense and security; and making thorough preparations for elections to ensure democracy, legality and absolute safety.

Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, also agreed with the orientations and tasks for 2026 set out by the Binh Long Ward Party Committee, and requested that the ward Party Committee concretize targets and tasks into key programs and action plans with clear roadmaps and defined responsibilities; link socio-economic development tasks with the successful organization of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels; and proactively propose appropriate mechanisms and policies to promote local autonomy.
