Prime Minister approves election result for Nguyen Van Ut as Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee

On the afternoon of November 21, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Prime Minister’s decision approving the election result of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council for the position of Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021–2026 term.

The conference was co-chaired by Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; and Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

At the conference, Nguyen Huu Dinh, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Home Affairs, announced Prime Minister’s Decision No. 2559/QD-TTg dated November 21, 2025, signed by Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, approving the election result for the position of Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021–2026 term for Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. The decision officially takes effect from the date of signing, November 21, 2025.

Subsequently, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Vu Hong Van, on behalf of the Prime Minister, presented the approval decision and flowers to congratulate Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, as he officially assumed the position of Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 18, at the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Hall, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat regarding Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee. Accordingly, Ut was relieved from his participation in the Party Committee of Tay Ninh province and its Standing Committee, and from his role as Deputy Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. The Secretariat also transferred and appointed him to join the Party Committee of Dong Nai province and its Standing Committee, while serving as Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.

On the afternoon of November 18, the 10th Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council for the 2021-2026 term held the 7th session (thematic session) to elect Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, as Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
