Addressing the event, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha noted that November 9, 1946, marked the date when the first Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, was adopted by the first National Assembly at its inaugural session. The date has since been enshrined in the 2012 Law on Dissemination and Education of Legal Knowledge, honouring the Constitution and promoting the spirit of respect for the rule of law — living and working in accordance with the Constitution and the law.
In recent years, alongside efforts to continuously improve the legal system, the dissemination and education of legal knowledge, particularly among youth union members, have become a regular, continuous, and innovative task. These efforts have helped cultivate a sense of legal awareness and respect for the rule of law among the younger generation.
Deputy Secretary Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha emphasised that this year’s Dong Nai Youth Festival is being held in three phases, in Chon Thanh Ward, Binh Phuoc Ward, and Tran Bien Ward, featuring various activity spaces for young people and children. The event includes legal awareness booths, environmental protection workshops, and sports and cultural performances. These activities aim not only to foster creativity and intelligence among young people but also to nurture their sense of responsibility, civic duty, and respect for the law, in line with the image of “Dong Nai Youth – courageous, intelligent, disciplined, and compassionate”. The second phase in Binh Phuoc Ward runs from November 8 to 10, 2025.
